L’oferta gastronòmica del mercat dels Encants

The Encants Market offers nine dining spaces where you can enjoy breakfast, vermut (light snacking), lunch and even late evening meals. The Street Food area, with six premises serving their own cuisine specialties, can be found on the top floor. La Palmera Bar is on the middle floor, and El Mirall dels Encants restaurant and Encants Bar are on the ground floor.
The market is provided with elevators to easily access all floor levels.

These six premises are located in units of approximately 20 m² each, and there you can enjoy a wide variety of food. You can either have your food on the tables and benches provided, or you can order to take away. You can choose from Mediterranean to Oriental cuisine, as well as Italian, tapas, fish and seafood classics.

The Street Food area offers the customer remarkable  views of the city through the viewpoint on the top floor.

Stop & Mos (grup Mondo sibaris)

Here you can taste a varied assortment of delicious “montaditos” such as Ibérico ham with figs, or cheese with  tomato relish. They also offer a wide variety of healthy and tasty salads, natural juices, ecologically produced wines, roast beef or salmon wraps, to mention a few. They also offer daily homemade chicken broth and cream soup to fight the cold days. All packaging used (plates, paper cups and cutlery) is 100 % recyclable.

Gall Encantat (Legorian)

This space offers a menu specialising in free range chicken and other poultry products, with special interest in local produce to provide traditional and fast food. The name of this place, Gall Encantat, is a direct reference to the market as well as to the local gastronomy. Their menu includes roast chicken, chicken  croquettes, duck magret and confit duck, fresh pasta, salads, foie gras and canelons.

Can Paixano

Can Paixano (also known as La Xampanyeria) offers tapas, sandwiches, cold meat platters and their own artisan cavas and sparkling wines,  produced in El Penedès wine region since 1969. With their first outlet in la Barceloneta neighbourhood, their presence at the market is the result of a new culinary adventure  to go with   the    promoting of  their well established cavas and sparkling wines.

Mucho Gusto, Pizza y más

Mucho Gusto specialises in pizza portions, savoury pastries and pies. They offer their own homemade focaccia with a selection of toppings, quiche or savoury pies, as well as Argentinian empanadas (traditional savoury pastries). They also pride themselves on the elaboration of their own variations of Panzerotti (a savoury turnover which resembles a small calzone, which has its origin in the Ampulia region). They finish their offer with salads, assorted desserts and drinks. Last, you can customise your own pizza to take away if you wish.

There is a space for Oriental food dishes here in the market as well: Chinese, Korean and Japanese. Enjoy noodles, rice, gyoza (dumplings shaped in the form of crests stuffed with meat and vegetables), sushi… with Chinese style fries on the side.  And their menu also features popular dishes such as fried noodles, udon, roast duck, fried bread and Chinese bread.

Peixet als Encants.

The Kiosko Universal restaurant, in the Boqueria neighbourhood, now provides their much acclaimed cuisine here at Peixet als Encants. They offer a new take on fast food, specializing in fish and seafood dishes, combining  innovative with traditional Mediteranean and Catalan cuisine.

Bar La Palmera

La Palmera Bar  offers tradition bar food staples  like omelettes or  scrambled eggs with green garlic. You can also enjoy brunch at the bar or at the tables outside, with a viewpoint to the city.  Torradas (a typical Catalan style tomato and toast slice of bread topped with cold meats, cheese, etc)  are also part of the menu which includes a  great variety of other dishes and sandwiches.   You can finish off with a nice cup of coffee.

Restaurant El Mirall dels Encants

This 200 m² restaurant is located at street level, with a separate entrance to the market. It is open for lunch and dinner, with the opening hours independent of the market business hours. There is a café area and a dining area offering Mediterranean dishes. 

Bar Encants Barcelona

Also known as “Bellcaire” Bar,  you can enjoy sandwiches and the truly  traditional tapas like croquettes,  anchovies in vinaigrette, tripe, potatoes in spicy tomato sauce,  and a variety  of salads as well. Coffee is also available here.
